Me

Hello World!

I'm Ethan Huang; a Georgia Tech student by day, and a side quest connoisseur by night. I've traded a sliver of privacy for the chance to swap ideas, so welcome to the tiny patch of the internet where I occasionally update my life progress.

I tinker with electronic and software projects. Pianist. Amateur cyclist. Learning UVM in my spare time. Currently, incorporating my passions into a sight-reading helper project.

What I'm Currently Doing

Experience / Project Description
ECE @ Georgia Institute of Technology Focus: Signal Processing and Circuit Technology.
Undergraduate Researcher @ Flavinlab Working on firmware for reconfigurable, distributed haptics and sensor nodes. Using LLMs to generate custom node communication firmware based on patient needs and treatment goals, and developing methods to validate generated code.
Undergraduate Researcher @ Plasma and Dielectrics Laboratory Characterized an 850 nm power-over-fiber converter at cryogenic temperatures (publication soon). Created custom code to interface with laboratory equipment for automated testing.
SiliconJackets Leading design verification for a custom RISC-V core: testbench development, code reviews, and team guidance. Created onboarding tutorials in SystemVerilog, learning UVM, and presented our retiming engine at the 2025 Symposium on VLSI Technology and Circuits.
RoboJackets Designed and debugged control and motor boards. Prototyping the next-generation STM32-based control board and a custom break-beam solution.
BuzzBot Building a GT-focused search platform to help students find answers faster.
